  • Checked-in patients for a 5 physician and 2 nurse practitioner office with approxiately 50-125 patients per day.

  • Maintained all (a rolling list of approximately 75-100 patients) Veteran's Administration and active military patients' referrals and appointments reducing appointment wait time, preventing same-day appointment cancelations due to red tape, and making sure proper billing occured.

  • Input referrals into office system and called patients for appointments (5-50 per day depending on number of office visits that day).

  • Maintained one doctor's schedule by re-adjusting appointment times per doctor and clearing vacation times.

  • Answered phone to shcedule appointments, answer questions, and problem solve patient issues.

  • Maintained fax que by delegatng faxes to appropriate recipients and answering pertinent faxes.

  • Verified and input insurance information to ensure proper billijng.

  • Worked with medical assistants and professionals to alert them to the unique needs of specific patients.

  • Maintained Federal Title I records to ensure compliance and keep funding for Indianapolis Public School 105 (IPS 105),

  • Wrote a weekly classroom newsletter for parents including using a translation app for a Spanish edition.
